Her designs are currently available at her studio in Pune, Bombay Electric and Colaba in Mumbai, Nautanky in Ahmedabad and Laki Noon in Kuwait.
About Ka-Sha
At Ka-Sha, clothing is a medium to celebrate hand-crafts and the work is a celebration of life and all that we see and seek around us. Drawn to artisanal techniques, new and old, we often translate these in our work. People, stories, journeys and perspectives are at the core of our inspiration. The clothing prides itself in its quality and processes, mindful of the maker and the wearer. Each piece is crafted in natural fabrics, hand-dyed and crafted with love since 2012.
Ka-Sha’s need to be a label that adapted its waste in a functional system led us to Heart To Haat, our sisterhood, inspired by the indigenous ideology of reusing, repurposing and reclaiming. Here clothing and textiles of all shapes and sizes are reclaimed and repurposed drawing from techniques of craft through innovation, alongside a circular focus on the afterlife of Ka-Sha’s own product offering.
