Reviving Munda Cultural Practices by Design
Anupam Purty is a Senior Graphic Designer, Photographer and Brand Consultant currently located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He graduated in Graphic Design from National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad in 2013. He has been working at Jacobs in UAE for two years now. Earlier he has worked with enterprises like Ignite Middle East, Insignia, Alter Ego, Idea Works.
Purty is a highly skilled graphic designer with a demonstrated history of working in the marketing and advertising industry. He has an advanced level of expertise in typography, art direction,layout design, vector illustration, photography, brochures, photo-retouching and manipulation, information design and layout design.
Hailing from Ranchi (Jharkhand), Purty attended St. Anthony’s School and St. Xavier’s School. His journey as a graphic designer germinated as a frequent visitor of the public library and from learning to play basketball to calligraphy and various subjects through various books. Belonging to the Munda tribe, he is passionate about learning his native language Mundari. Some of his memorable projects include a booklet on Munda tribe rich with illustrations and thoroughly researched information, city planning, designing logo for Dubai 2040 project with a futuristic plan for Dubai. He has a vision to build sustainable houses and give back to his community through his design knowledge.
