Anamika Marian Toppo is a Research Scholar in Ranchi University, Jharkhand. She holds a degree of Masters in Philosophy (English Literature) from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Orissa. Her M.Phil. Dissertation was on “Changing Social Status of the colonizers and colonized: A Portrayal in J. M. Coetzee’s Disgrace”. She has published an Article, “Tribal lost in Urban Society” (published in NCC National Council of Churches in India Review Vol. CXLI No.07 August 2021).
Hailing from the Oraon tribe, she wishes to do extensive research on the diminishing cultural practices of the Oraons. She is deeply attracted to art and crafts and enjoys the company of books.
