Sanjeev Marskole is a documentary filmmaker, cinematographer, and avid nature photographer with a deep commitment to conservation and cultural preservation. Sanjeev creates documentary films, short films, music videos, and visual content that explore the lives, traditions, and environments of tribal communities. His work not only documents but also celebrates indigenous heritage, portraying the unique bond between these communities and their natural surroundings.
Passionate about wildlife, Sanjeev frequently participates in bird and butterfly surveys, furthering his dedication to conservation through hands-on involvement in environmental monitoring and awareness initiatives. His love for nature and commitment to his community extends beyond the screen. As a member of Chhedka Rural Tourism, a committee he co-founded with the support of the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board and Indian Rural Services, he has helped build a homestay program in his village. This homestay invites tourists to experience the authentic lifestyle, traditional cuisine, and forest knowledge of the local tribal communities, fostering cultural exchange and sustainable tourism.
