About Madivi Raja Markendeya 

Madivi Raja Markandeya, also known as Nehru, born on March 3, 1979, in Bhadrachalam, Telangana, is a 44-year-old Koya Adivasi belonging to the Gondwana Nationality with Naga Vamshi lineage. As the 7th Dev of the Madavi Parivar, he has been a prominent figure representing Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

With a degree in hand, Madivi has served as a government employee in the Medical & Health Department of Andhra Pradesh, holding the position of Office Subordinate. His foray into Adivasi activities began in 2008, and he has been a driving force in the Adivasi Samkshema Parishad for Andhra and Telangana. Notably, he serves as the National Coordinator and is the founder of Gotul, a Gondwana Study Center.

Madivi is passionate about fostering relationships among Adivasis, practicing and promoting cultural identity, striving for self-empowerment, and working towards the standardization of Gondi language, community, and culture.

In the realm of Adivasi associations, Madivi is actively involved with Adivasi Mahasabha, KBKS, AM&HEU AP-TS, Gondi Standardization Committee, Gondwana Gond Mahasabha, Adivasi Indigenous Dharma Samanvaya Committee India, AIAEF, UTG, and APAJAC.
