Devesh Mishra is an architect and urban designer passionate about creating sustainable solutions that honor local contexts while preserving their unique identities. His expertise spans architecture, urban design, environmental design, and conservation, with a strong focus on community-driven progress and innovation. Currently, he works as an architect and urban designer at the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) in Parma, Italy.
In addition to his professional role, Devesh is a Young Energy Ambassador at the European Climate, Infrastructure, and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), where he actively engages in promoting sustainable energy solutions. He participated in the European Sustainable Energy Week 2024 as a Young Energy Ambassador, contributing to the Peer Parliament discussion on the transformation of coal-dependent communities in Europe and their transition to clean energy.
Devesh’s commitment to sustainability is further exemplified by his involvement as a Sustainability Expert Roster member at Revolve, a media and communications group focusing on energy and climate. He also volunteers as a UNESCO Heritage Volunteer, contributing to the preservation of cultural and natural heritage sites. Additionally, he is a youth member of several prestigious networks, including the Global Youth Biodiversity Network (GYBN) for both Europe and Asia, the European Solidarity Corps (ESC), the Youth Water Network, and the C40 Cities Youth Hub, where he collaborates on global climate initiatives.
Recognized for his academic excellence and innovative design solutions, Devesh has made notable contributions in the areas of sustainable urban regeneration and eco-friendly architecture, constantly striving to improve the built environment in harmony with nature.
