About Us
Find out how a Khasi artist traverses through the mediums of photography, writing, drawing and filmmaking exploring indigenous worldviews, with a particular focus on engaging the personal with mythology, history, and ecology through an interaction with visual artist, FILEONA ENDOXA DKHAR, living and working between Shillong, India, and Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Discover in an interactive session with CAREEN JOPLIN LANGSTIEH, how she as an artist delves into an introspective exploration of her journey within the realm of her Khasi tribal community. While many of her paintings may be interpreted as a soliloquy wrung out from personal experiences, her works are an intricate fabric of her worldview woven in tandem with the ecology of her time.
